Reset Multi-factor Authentication in Brivo Access

Overview

When an administrator loses or upgrades their phone, they will need Multi-factor Authentication reset so they can register their new device.

Prerequisites

To reset the Multi-factor Authentication feature for a specific administrator, the following Administrator permissions are required:

  • View administrators
  • Edit administrator profiles

Steps to reset Multi-factor Authentication for a specific administrator

  1. Navigate to the Administrators page by clicking Settings > Administrators
  2. Select the Administrator that needs Multi-factor Authentication reset from the Administrator List.
  3. On the left pane, click on Reset Multi-factor Authentication and then click Continue.
  1. This administrator will be prompted to set up Multi-factor Authentication the next time they log in to this account.
