Alicia Allen Updated by Alicia Allen

Enable Multi-factor Authentication on your Brivo Access account to increase account security and reduce the chance of unauthorized users logging in to your account. Once enabled, all administrators on the account will be required to log in with Multi-factor Authentication.

To enable the Multi-factor Authentication feature, the following Administrator permissions are required:

  • View account settings
  • Update account settings

Steps to enable Multi-factor Authentication

  1. On the left navigation bar, navigate to the Configuration tab and select Account Settings.
  1. On the Account Settings page, either jump to the Settings section by clicking the tab on the left or scrolling down on the page.
  1. In the Settings section, you will see the Enable Multi-factor Authentication setting. You can enable or disable the feature here. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

  1. All administrators on the account will be prompted to use Multi-factor Authentication each time they log in to this account going forward.
