Managing Account Settings in Brivo Access

Overview

The account settings page in Brivo Access allows Administrators the ability to make account wide changes and updates.

Prerequisites

To make any Account settings updates, the following Administrator permissions are required:

  • View account settings
  • Update account settings

Steps to Managing the Account Settings

  1. On the left navigation bar, navigate to the Settings tab and select Account.
  1. On the Account page, you will see a left side menu for Account Wide Settings under which you will find Account InfoCompany Info, SettingsBrivo Mobile PassPersonnel Control and Eagle Eye Settings.
  2. The Account Info section shows the Account NameAccount NumberDealer, and type of Edition.
  3. The Company Info section shows the Company information set when the account was created and can be edited to reflect changes in name or address.
  4. The Settings section allows administrators to:
    1. Enable or Disable Remote Access.
    2. Create users as Suspended or Active by default
    3. Enable Multi-factor Authentication
    4. Enable Multifamily Support (on applicable accounts)
    5. Enable or disable emergency communications
    6. Enable or disable Mobile Pass Trasfers
  1. The Facial Authentication section allows administrators to assign Faceprint credentials to Users
  1. The Personnel Control section can be enabled or disabled.  When enabled, administrators can configure both checkpoint readers and exemption groups as needed (see image below).
  1. The Expire Credentials section allows Administrators the ability to set a time period in which credentials that have not been used will be deactivated
  1. The Data Retention section allows applicable accounts the ability to adjust how long data is stored for their account
  1. The Guest Settings section allows applicable accounts the ability to set a limit as to how far in the future a guest can receive an invitation
