Features and Functionality

Conversational AI Support
  • Administrators can interact with Brivo Genius naturally by asking questions.
  • Responses are generated from Brivo’s knowledge base, including guides, documents, and videos.
  • Brivo Genius assists in managing systems, configuring tools, and resolving technical issues.
Smart Filters (Beta)
  • Brivo Genius can filter event and user data using natural language queries within Brivo Access.
  • Available in Users and Events pages for streamlined data retrieval.

Prerequisites

Steps

Accessing Brivo Genius

  1. Login to Brivo Access via a web browser.
  2. Click the Brivo Genius 
  3. Type a question or select a starter prompt to begin.
  4. To close Brivo Genius, either click outside the window or click the Brivo Genius icon again.

Using Brivo Genius

Starting and Continuing a Conversation
  • Begin by selecting a starter prompt or typing a question.
  • Brivo Genius remembers previous exchanges in the conversation for contextual responses.
  • Each interaction is recorded as a Message, and a series of interactions make up a Conversation.
Starting a New Conversation
  • To start a new topic, click the option to begin a new conversation.
  • Previous conversations are saved in history until you log out.
Copying Responses
  • Click the clipboard icon to copy Brivo Genius responses.
  • Useful for emails, documents, or customer support responses.

Smart Filters (Beta)

Brivo Genius provides Smart Filtering for event and user data, enhancing administrative tasks.

  1. Users Page:
  • Go to Users from the left navigation.
  • Enter a query in the Brivo Genius Search Bar.
  • Results will filter the page accordingly.

  • Go to Events from the left navigation.
  • Enter a relevant question in the Brivo Genius Search Bar.
  • The page will filter based on the query.

Providing Feedback

Feedback is crucial for improving Brivo Genius and Smart Filters.

How to Provide Feedback
  • Feedback can be given for Conversations, Messages, and Smart Filters.
  • Click the feedback icon or select "Share Feedback" in the search bar.
  • Rate the feedback with a thumbs up or thumbs down
Types of Feedback
  • Positive Feedback: Helps highlight areas where Brivo Genius performs well.
  • Negative Feedback: Identifies areas for improvement, including incorrect or misleading responses.
