Adding an employee badge to Google Wallet

Overview

Offer an even easier way to get around buildings and facilities without having to unlock a phone or open an app by adding mobile credentials to Google Wallet. Provide staff with a frictionless access experience with just a tap from an Android phone.

Prerequisites

To add a mobile credentials/corporate badge to Google Wallet, the following prerequisites are required:

  • Ensure that you have signed into Google Play, with your personal email (not work)
  • Ensure that your administrator has assigned a Brivo Wallet Pass to you
  • Ensure your Android phone is on OS 8 or later
  • Ensure your Android phone supports NFC and that it is turned on
  • Ensure you have Google Wallet installed on your phone
  • Ensure you have installed the latest version of the Brivo Mobile Pass.

Steps to adding your Employee Badge in Google Wallet via Brivo Mobile Pass

  1. Download the Brivo Mobile Pass app from the Play Store.
  2. Redeem your Brivo Mobile Pass from the email sent to you by your admin.
  3. From the navigation menu, tap on the Create an Account button and proceed with creating a Brivo Mobile Pass account.
  4. Once the account is created, you will receive an email. Tap on the link in the email to verify your email address and complete the account creation process.
  5. From the navigation menu, tap on your pass to view your digital badge.
  6. Tap on the Add to Google Wallet button and follow the onscreen prompts to finish adding your mobile credential to the Google Wallet.
