How to Enable Guest Management in Partner Portal

Resellers can easily activate the Guest Management feature through the Brivo Partner Portal, giving businesses streamlined access control and guest management capabilities.

Here’s how to enable Guest Management:

  1. A Partner Portal administrator with the appropriate permissions logs into the Partner Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Customers menu from the left-hand side.
  3. Locate the account by entering the Account Name or Account Number in the My Accounts search field.
  4. Once you find the right account, select it.
  5. Click the Settings button at the top right corner of the page.
  6. In the Settings menu, either scroll through or select Guest Management from the navigation.
  7. Choose Enable and click Save Changes to activate Enhanced Guest Management.

Once enabled, Guest Management is immediately ready for be configured for use, and billing for this feature will begin. This powerful tool ensures a seamless guest experience with advanced access control.

How to Disable Guest Management in Partner Portal

If you ever need to disable Guest Management, the process is quick and straightforward. Disabling Guest removes it from the customer's account, and guest management capabilities will no longer be available.

Follow these steps to disable Guest Management:

  1. A Partner Portal administrator with the appropriate permissions logs into the Partner Portal.
  2. Select the appropriate account via the Customers menu.
  3. Use the My Accounts search field to locate the account by Account Name or Account Number.
  4. Select the account and click Settings at the top right of the page.
  5. Navigate to or scroll to Guest Management within the Settings page.
  6. Choose Disable and click Save Changes to turn off Guest Management.

Once disabled, administrators and users will no longer be able to manage guests or grant access. Active guest invites will be revoked, and users will lose access through the Brivo Mobile Pass app. Plus, billing for the feature will automatically stop.
