What happens to my employee badge in Apple Wallet if I lose my iPhone or Apple Watch?
If you lose your iPhone or Apple Watch, your employee badge in Apple Wallet will be suspended when the device is marked as "lost" in the Find My app. It will reactivate once your device is recovered. Learn more.

If you lose your Android device, you can lock or erase it remotely. Learn more.

What happens if my phone needs to be charged?
Even if your iPhone needs a charge, your employee badge in Apple Wallet will work. Power Reserve provides up to five hours of access.

The Android phone must be powered on to unlock a door.

What is express mode?
With Express Mode enabled, you won't need to unlock your iPhone, Android device or Apple Watch. To access your workspace, simply walk up to a door and tap your device to the reader.

What happens if I get a new phone?
When you get a new phone, you can transfer your credentials seamlessly. Download the Brivo Mobile pass app on your new phone and log in to it. Then, proceed with adding the pass to your wallet via the app. Please note that this will disable the employee badge in Apple wallet or Google Wallet on your old device.

What happens if I get a new Apple Watch?
When you get a new Apple Watch, pair it with your iPhone. Ensure that your new watch has a passcode setup. Then, using the Brivo Mobile pass app, proceed with adding the employee badge to Apple Wallet while the Apple Watch is in vicinity. Learn more.

What happens if I don’t have Wi-Fi or cellular access?
Employee Badge in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet does not require an internet connection or cellular data because it uses NFC technology to complete the transactions.

On how many devices can I add the employee badge to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
You can add the employee badge to Apple Wallet on one iPhone and a paired watch.

You can add the employee badge to Google wallet on one Android device.

Why does the ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ button not show up on my phone?
Make sure that you meet these prerequisites:
1. You are using an iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus or later
2. You have signed into iCloud on your device. Learn more
3. You have a passcode or biometrics setup on your iPhone and Apple Watch
4. You have created a BMP account and verified your email. Learn more

Why does the ‘Add to Google Wallet’ button not show up on my phone?
Make sure that you meet these prerequisites:
1. You are using a device on Android 8 or later
2. You have downloaded and signed into Google wallet.
3. You have a passcode or biometrics setup on your Android device
4. You have created a BMP account and verified your email. Learn more

Do I need to use the same email address for iCloud and Brivo Mobile Pass?
You don't need to use the same email address. Your iCloud email, the email on which you were issued your pass and the email with which you create the Brivo Mobile Pass account can all be different.

Do I need to use the same email address for Google Wallet and Brivo Mobile Pass?
You don't need to use the same email address. Your Google Wallet email, the email on which you were issued your pass and the email with which you create the Brivo Mobile Pass account can all be different.

Can I use CSN (such as iClass credentials) and Brivo Wallet Pass?
Enabling the ability for Brivo Wallet Pass will disable the ability for the reader to read card serial numbers. If the customer is currently using iClass CSN or reading any other CSN credentials, they will need to upgrade to a supported secure credential such as Brivo Smart Cards or Brivo Unified Credentials.

Will Brivo Wallet Pass work in a supported country if my phone or SIM card is from an unsupported country?
Android users with a phone or SIM card from an unsupported country will not be able to use Brivo Wallet Pass with Google Wallet.

iPhone users may experience compatibility issues if any of their equipment or Apple ID information is registered in an unsupported country.
