Overview

Dashboards help Administrators by providing a single customizable view for security trends, events, & video; improving response times & increasing team productivity.

Prerequisites

Dashboards are included on all accounts. The account must have video integrated to use the camera widgets.

  1. On the left navigation bar, navigate to the Dashboard tab.
  2. Three dashboards included by default, Security Operations, Mission Control, and Facility Manager.
  3. Select the Dashboard drop down list in the top left of the dashboard, select the star next to the dashboard to make it a favorite. This will be your landing page every time you login or click Dashboard from the left navigation bar.
  4. Select the Site Filter in the top right of the dashboard.
  5. Select a single site or multiple sites to drill into the data. All events, metrics, & cameras will be filtered for the sites selected, helping you to quickly drill into specific sites.
  6. Select the Event Tracker filter icon in the top right of the widget.
  7. Select any filters you want to apply to events.
    1. The Event Tracker has an individual filter to filter for more specific events. Sites will override the Global Site Filter at the top right of the page.

Creating a custom dashboard

  1. Select the dashboard drop down in the top left of the dashboard, then click Create Dashboard.
  2. Add widgets by clicking the Add Widgets button.
  3. Select the widgets you want in the interface & click Done. More widgets will appear in the list as they become available in the future.
  4. Add a video widget if you have cameras integrated with your account.
  5. Once added, select the Settings icon in the top right corner of the widget and select your desired video layout.
    1. New video layouts can be created on the video management page.
    2. Multiple camera widgets can be added to dashboards for creating multiple views & multiple sites as desired.
  6. Click Edit on the top right corner to edit the interface.
  7. Delete widgets by selecting the X button in the top right of the widget.
  8. Rename widgets by selecting the three dot menu in the top right corner of the widget and selecting Rename.
