Floor Plan Usability

Overview

Administrators can view the floor plans much easier from multiple locations in Brivo Access.  Either from the main navigation or from global view, an Admin can find and view the floor plans they are looking for.

Administrators using Access on standard or professional edition will also see the navigation menu for floor plans which will lead them to a feature preview.

Pre-requisites

To use this feature, you must have the Enhanced Access feature pack, which is included in Professional, Enterprise, and Multifamily Portfolio editions or can be purchased separately through your reseller.

  1. A floor plan has already been created for a site
  2. Admin permissions:
    1. Site assignments
    2. View Floor Plans

Steps

Global View
  1. From the left navigation menu, click Sites and then select Global View.
  2. Select the desired site pin from the map. If multiple sites exist at the site pin, select the desired site from the available sites listed.
  3. Click the View Floor Plan button on the Site Details pop-up display.
Floor Plans
  1. Alternately, from left navigation bar, click on Sites and then select Floor Plans.
  2. From the floor plans you have authority to view, the floor plan listed first alphabetically will display. For example, if you have Bethesda Office and Miami Office as available sites, if you use this method, the floor plan for the Bethesda Office will always display. If you added an Austin Office, it would then always display first because it appears first in an alphabetical list.
  3. If you want to change to another floor plan, use the Floor Plan Switcher at the top left of your display and choose your selected floor plan from the dropdown.
