How to Manage a Control Panel in Brivo Access

Adding a Control Panel

  1. Navigate to the Control Panels page under the Settings->Configuration menu
  2. Click the New Control Panel button at the top left of the list. The New Control Panel page displays.
  3. Enter a brief, descriptive name in the Control Panel Name field, such as “12 Pine Street” or “Main Reactor.”
  4. Enter the Control Panel ID number found on the control panel. You will receive an error message if you enter an invalid ID number.
  5. In the Note field, enter any miscellaneous information related to the functioning of the control panel, such as where the panel is located in the building, where any other door or I/O boards are located, when the battery was last changed or the most recent service date.
  6. Click Save Control Panel. You are taken to the Control Panel detail page where your new control panel is listed.

Editing a Control Panel

  1. Navigate to the Control Panels page under the Settings->Configuration menu
  2. Select your control panel and click on it. The Control Panel Details page displays.
  3. Click on the Edit Control Panel button and make whatever changes are needed.
  4. When finished, click on the Save Control Panel button.

Deleting a Control Panel

In order to delete a control panel from Brivo Access, you need to consult with Brivo Technical Support at 866-274-8648 or email customercare@brivo.com.
