Using Badge Templates

  1. On the left navigation bar, navigate to the Users tab and select Badge Templates.
  1. Once you are on the User Management page, click on the Create Badge Template button on the right.
  1. Name the new Badge Template and click Create. The Badge Design screen appears.
  1. On the right side of the screen are three tabs.
    1. Badge Setup – This tab allows you to add or change basic layout and orientation as well as background colors/backgrounds.
    2.  Add Text and Images – This tab allows you to add or change various text and image options such as user photos, custom images, and barcodes.
    3. Element Properties – This tab allows to you to make changes to specific text boxes and images on the badge itself.
  1. Once you have completed the badge template, click on Save Template in the upper right-hand corner. The User Management  screen appears again and the saved template is now listed on the Badge Templates tab.
  2. To make changes to an existing template, simply click on the template name or click View to the right. Existing templates have the option to Delete a template or to Discard any changes and return to the User Management screen.
  3. To print a badge, go the Users tab on the User Management screen. Next to the user name(s) for whom you want to print badges, click the checkbox. The Print Badge button will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.
  1. Click the Print Badge button and select the badge template you want to print from the dropdown menu in the pop-up window and click Next.
  2. The details page of your print job will appear. It shows the badge template being used and along the bottom, the number of badges being printed, how many have already been printed, how many were skipped, and how many are left to print. To begin, click Print
  3. A new window in your browser will appear with the badge. Select the Printer icon in the upper right hand corner, select your badge printer and click Print.
