Using Snapshot Log in Brivo Access

Larry Wile Updated by Larry Wile

Overview

Brivo Snapshot is an advanced AI-based capability that simplifies access control by fusing video and event data into a single frame. This feature provides a visual record of all entry events across a business, allowing users to quickly confirm that the person entering a space with a credential is indeed the person the credential belongs to. It offers a photo album view of access events, making it easier to review visual event information. This integration of video and access event data enhances security and provides valuable insights into access activities.

Prerequisites

A Snapshot subscription is required

Steps to Using Snapshot Log

  1. Navigate to Video & select Snapshot.
  2. For those accounts enabled to see this option, select Snapshot Log.
  3. Across the top, you will see filters by Device, User, Site, or Date Range.
  4. By default, video snapshots are displayed starting with today’s date and going back in time as you scroll down.
  5. Each snapshot will contain an image, the timestamp of when the event occurred, the device name, and the event type.
  6. The three event types displayed in these snapshots are User Access events (showing the User’s name), Opened by Brivo Access events (an admin using the Unlock Now feature), or Unauthorized Door Open events.
  7. You may click on a snapshot to expand the image into a larger pop-out window. If it is a User Access event and the User has a picture associated with their profile, that image will appear at the bottom of the enlarged snapshot.
  8. Faces that appear in these snapshots will appear surrounded by either a green or red square. A face surrounded by a green square indicates the person is wearing a mask. A face surrounded by a red square indicates the person is not wearing a mask.
