Install the Latest Firmware

Contact Brivo Customer Care at 866-274-8648 or email customercare@brivo.com to confirm that your control panel is loaded with the latest firmware. If it is not, please follow the instructions provided by Brivo Customer Care to upgrade your firmware to the latest version before proceeding with any installation.

What is Firmware?

Firmware is software that is embedded into hardware devices such as our Brivo control panels. Firmware controls how your devices behave.

Brivo automatically updates the firmware to the latest version when hardware is first connected to our servers. We recommend that you update the firmware on your existing Brivo hardware whenever new firmware becomes available. New firmware often fixes bugs, contains new features, and addresses security vulnerabilities.

Firmware Upload via USB

On the ACS6000 and ACS300 control panels, firmware may be uploaded via the built-in USB port. Follow these instructions to do that: Uploading Firmware via USB.
